Our Story
For over a decade, our founder lived on an irregular schedule, early mornings, borrowed nights, new time zones and climates every week. Energy spiked and crashed, routines slipped, and persistent skin issues became the breaking point. The breakthrough was real ceremonial grade matcha. The glow came first; then the deeper shift: steadier energy, calmer focus, and a simple routine that finally held. That “oh, this works” moment, a moment of enlightenment; a moment of Satori.
How We Source
Every year during ichiban (first harvest), our founder travels to Uji, Japan, the birthplace of matcha, to taste test all the flavour profiles and cultivars with our tea masters and farmers. Our founder personally select what goes into your Satori cup. Our matcha is shaded for a longer than average period of 25–30 days, and stone-milling is on site so nothing is outsourced. 100% authentic. No middlemen. No shortcuts.
